How does repair by fusion work?
1. No complicated vehicle preparation required
In winter, we simply recommend clearing snow from the car and defrosting the windshield.
2. We clean and prepare the windshield
We remove air and debris from the crack.
3. We fill it with a special resin
With the same refractive index as the glass.
4. You will receive a certificate
Confirming that the repair was performed using a technology approved by the Czech Ministry of Transport (certificate 8SD 3129). This certificate is valid throughout the EU.
Tip before repairing:
Cover the crack with clear tape to prevent moisture from getting in and improve the quality of the repair.

What do insurance companies say about auto glass repairs?
All insurance companies fully accept this repair method. Some insurance companies even require this repair if the crack meets their internal guidelines regarding size and location on the windshield.
Every insurance company is obligated to reimburse the cost of the repair even to so-called non-contracted auto repair shops, provided that the client followed the proper procedure for reporting the insurance claim and allowed an initial inspection and photographic documentation of the damaged windshield to be performed by a person authorized by the insurance company.

Can a crack be repaired anywhere on the windshield?
EU legislation prohibits repairs to double-pane windshields within the driver’s field of view—ECE Regulation No. 43.
In this case, the driver’s field of view is not defined by the area covered by both windshield wipers. It refers only to the driver’s side, and the field is defined by a rectangle 29 cm wide (14.5 cm on each side of the steering wheel axis), bounded at the top and bottom by the area covered by the wiper.
